Also, a 360-degree design means the baby can play with the toys on each side. (Three AA batteries are required but not included.) It also has an on/off switch, which turns on lights and noises activated by movement. Interactive toys and activities include two soft hanging animals (a monkey and a tropical bird), a peek-a-boo tiger (accessed by pushing a button), a spinning rattle lizard, a rainbow with a rotating sunshine, a spinning wheel, and an electronic component with lights, music, and other sounds. The Jumparoo stimulates the sight, hearing, and touch senses of a growing child. This seat seat appears to be comfortable for both sitting and bouncing. Your baby can be lowered down into the adjustable seat, which has three height positions to accommodate a growing infant. The cushioned seat design is similar to a bucket swing with leg holes and a supported back. The primary hue is light green with multicolored toys and a neutral base of taupe and off-white. With a jungle theme, the colors are bright and cheery. Once assembled, the system is 37 inches tall and 32 inches wide in each direction. The city mini is a good choice for you too cos of the huge hood – all that bright light you have over there! Not such a big issue in the grey UK.Although it folds up for moving and storage, this position is not particularly compact. I know it used to be 8 but now the pound is collapsing so people aren’t getting such a good deal when they go abroad with their pounds (whereas conversely you would do well to buy in pounds). I still haven’t got around to buying one but I have found a website here in the UK where they are £150 but I don’t know what the current exchange rate is, maybe 5 or 6 sheckels to the pound. But then my child is easily bored, she is not the kind to sit still for long and we always have to find things to amuse her – she is hard hard work! That kept her fascinated long after both vibrations or swinging would have bored her and she would kick her legs madly in excitement. It was really the bubble display that won the day. But I had no choice since we were handed down one and I am so so grateful because it turned out to be so much better than I would have thought. Hello, it’s Liz again! As to your question about swing vs bouncer… well maybe if I had been buying it I might have gone for the swing. (like yours or the rainforest one that I like) or a swing (that plays music and…swings), which would you choose? So in terms of the bouncer - now I have someone offering to bring me a swing….so if you could only have one, a bouncer that vibrates, lights up, etc. Got the Mommy Hook too - I think it was like $6 in the U.S. We also got the rain cover and car seat adaptor at 20% off rates. Can't do the math now, but it's for sure the cheapest option. My mother-in-law picked it up for us at Buy Buy Baby (which is the baby store to Bed Bath & Beyond) for about $220-20% off coupon. In terms of places to buy it - well, it's definitely cheapest in the U.S., I would think. Hey Liz, thanks for commenting! I'll respond point by point: First, we got the City Mini in the end and so far, so good! It's not GREAT for bumping up and down stairs (of which Jerusalem is filled) but otherwise, it's light, so so easy to fold, and looks cute too. Anyway, good luck with your baby! They change so fast so just enjoy □ Liz x Log in to Reply Soon after her birth we were given a bouncy chair with a vibrate function and a bubbling water display that had lights and music and I have to say it was a lifesaver! It kept her occupied until she practically bust out of the chair at about 7 months. I have a rainforest cot mobile and my daughter STILL loves it (though we have attached it somewhere she can’t get hold of it and not on her cot any more). I just love gadgets too and research a lot into every little purchase I make □ I found the mommy hooks on ebay from an Ozzie firm and even with global postage they are still loads cheaper than UK firms are selling them for (an arm and a leg). Tell me – what did you get in the end? I have a 21 month old girl called Ariella and I live in London. ![]() I was trying to decide whether to buy it, now I am just trying to decide where to buy it since I want the best deal possible. Mazel tov on the safe arrival of your baby girl! I hope you don’t mind me leaving a comment but I found your page by accident when I was googling the baby jogger city mini.
